Tracon IX

Tracon X on jo nurkan takana, joten päätin ottaa itseäni niskasta kiinni ja heittää tämän postauksen ilmoille, ennen kuin olisi tarkoitus rustailla jo uudemmasta conista.

Tracon X is just around the corner. That's the reason why I decided to man up a little and write the post about last year's con, before it's already time to write about Tracon X.

Tracon IX oli... erilainen kokemus, mitä Tracon mulle yleisesti on ollut. (Ei siis mitenkään negatiivisella mielellä!) Tää johtui siitä, et tällä kertaa en ollut mukana vain meidän tanssiryhmän, TanPARA'n esityksessä, vaan pidin myös furityöpajaa. Nää sattui eri päiville, joten oli jotain jännitettävää conin ajan.

Tracon IX was... a bit different experience than the previous Tracon's that I've participated. (not in a bad way tho!) That's because, this time I was part of TanPARA's performance AND furi workshop. These two "programs'" were on a different day, which means I had something to be excited (and also nervous) for whole con. 

Anni ja Reiku tuli meille Traconia edeltävänä perjantaina. Me kerrattiin iltapäivä/ilta furityöpajan fureja. Reiku jäi siitä sitten tyköni yöksi. Parin tunnin yöunien jälkeen olikin aikainen aamuherätys. Tavaraa oli aika paljon ja allekirjoittanut oli ainakin pakannut omat kamppeensa (esiintymis ja furityökamppeet + muuta sälää) huonoon laukkuun. Saatiin kuitenkin raahattua itsemme bussiin ajoissa. Päätyämme Tampere-talolle, Reiku lähti omia teitään ja itse suuntasin Sorsapuistosalin hujakoille odottamaan muita ryhmäläisiä.

Anni and Reiku came to my place on Friday, the day before the convention. We went through the furis for the workshop and Reiku stayed for a night. We had to get up quite early but luckily we got the couple hours of needed sleep. There were a lot of stuff we took with us and I had chose really bad bag for my things. ( I took the furi workshop stuff, performance stuff etc.) Nevertheless, we got ourselves to bus on time. When we got to Tampere Hall, we went to our own ways. My way lead towards the "Sorsapuisto hall's" entrance where I waited for my (TanPARA) group mates.

Pian oltiinkin koossa ja mentiin yhdessä hakemaan rannekkeet ja badget. Tämän jälkeen etsittiin tiemme pukuhuoneesen, jossa alkoikin vaatteiden vaihto ja meikin & hiusten laitto. Olin innoissani esityksestä, koska se oli kaikin puolin erilainen kuin aikaisemmat. Esiintymiskappaleessa oltiin nimittäin käytetty tänä vuonna animen openingeja ja Anni koreografioi tanssin itse!

Soon all of us had come to the place and we went together to get the wristbands and badges. After we'd gotten those, we went to search dressing rooms and started to get ready for the performance. I was so eager to perform, 'cause our performance was different than the previous once. This time, we had anime openings on the song & Anni had choreographed the dance herself!  

Esiintymistilanne ei sit mennytkään ihan niin mutkattomasti. ^^; Kaiuttimet muussasivat ääntä ja biisi ei kuulostanut yhtään niin hyvältä, miltä se oikeasti kuulosti! Lisäksi eturivissä ollessa, kappaleen sanoja ei kuulunut yhtään. Rytmi kuului ja siinä sitten piti mielessä laskea ja muistella, mikäs liike seuraavaksi tulee. Onneksi esitystä oltiin harjoiteltu jo niin ahkerasti, että liikkeet tulivat jo lihasmuistista.

Esityksen jälkeen osallistuin TanPARA'n opettajien pitämälle oppitunnille! Koskaan ennen Traconissa käymisen aikana en ole ehtinyt vielä paraparatunnille, joten oli kiva päästä kokemaan tämäkin! :D

The performance didn't go as smoothly as thought, tho. ^^; The speaker kind of mashed the sound, and it didn't sound as good as the song really sounded! Also if you danced on the front row, you couldn't hear the words at all. The rhythm was only thing you'd hear so you had to count and remember, what move comes next. Luckily we had practice the performance a lot, so the moves came easily. 

After the performance, I participated to parapara lesson, which was taught by TanPARA's teachers! I've wanted to participate to the lesson, held in con, so many times but always something else comes up. That's why, I was happy that I was able to be on, at least, one lesson! :D 

Oppitunnin jälkeen onnistuin naksauttamaan jalkani niin, että minut piti auttaa ylös. ^^; Vaikka pystyyn pääsemisen jälkeen pääsinkin kävelemään hyvin, päätin kuitenkin käydä tässä vaiheessa kotona. Halusin nimittäin myös vaihtaa laukkuni mukavampaan. Kotona sit söin vähän, kirjoitin hyvät muistiinpanot kappaleista, jotka tulisin opettamaan furityöpajassa, ja pakkasin tavarat mukavampiin laukkuihin. 

After the lesson, I managed to hurt my leg a bit and I couldn't get up without any help. After I had gotten back to my feet, I was able to walk normally but I decided to still go to home quickly 'cause I really wanted to change my bag to more comfy one. When I was at home, I ate a little, wrote notes for the songs, I was about to teach on the workshop the next day, and I packed my stuff to two different bags.

Conipaikalle päästyä aloinkin sitten etsiä tuttuja. Ensin kävin kuitenkin viemässä isomman laukkuni narikkaan, jotta kulkeminen olisi helpompaa. Laittelin kans viestejä ja yritin soittaa ihmisille, mut eipä silloin oikein mikään helposti mennyt läpi. Mut kyl mä sit vihdoin löysin ihmisiä. Näin mm. Mimon. Häneltä kuulin, et conissa oli koju, jossa oli kpoppia ja jrockia myynnissä. Käytiin siellä sitten ihan huvikseen katsomassa. Ensimmäisenä silmiin osui mm. An Cafen Hikagyaku ZipRocK albumi. 

When I was back at con, I started to look for my friends. First tho, I went to take my bigger bag to cloakroom so walking around the crowded place was easier. I sent some messages and tried to call to my friends, but it wasn't much of help 'cause there was so many other people, but I still manage to meet my friends. I saw, for example, Mimo. She told, that there was some kpop and jrock stuff being sold. We went there to watch and first thing I saw was An Cafe's Hikagyaku ZipRocK album.

Kun siinä seisottiin, niin ilmoille kajahti Beautiful Target. B1A4 oli mun kevään uusimpia rakkauksia. Ja Baro on aika bby. ♥ *köh* Miten niin bias? *köh*. Siinä sit jähmetyin paikalleni ja hyvä kun ei pientä vinkaisua päässyt. ^^; Päädyin sit katselemaan siinä levyjä ja julisteita. Mun silmiin osui Teen Top Class Addition levy ja kysyinkin heti, paljon mahtaa maksaa. Rahaa mulla ei sitten ollut tarpeeksi, joten päädyin ostamaan kolme julistetta (2 Super Junior & 1 EXO) sen sijaan. Käveltiin muutama askel ja sanoin asiasta. Tän jälkeen Mimo oli ihana ja lainasi mulle rahaa et sain ostettua myös sen levyn. ;----; ♥ Sain sit ostoksille pienen muovipussin, jossa sain tavarat näppärästi kannettua. 

Levyhän on siis tämä ja itse sain mukana Capin photocardin.

While we watched the stuff, Beautiful Target started to play. B1A4 was one of my newest loves from the spring. And Baro is kinda bby. ♥ *cough* What do you mean by bias? *cough* I kind of froze to my place and little yelp was very close. ^^; After that little incident, I started to was more of the albums and noticed Teen Top Class Addition album and I immediately asked for the price. I counted that I didn't have enough cash, so instead I bought 3 posters. (2 Super Junior & 1 EXO). We walked away from the table and once I told about the price thing, Mimo was sweet and borrowed me some money, so I was able to buy the album after all. ;----; ♥ The man, who sold the album, gave me a little plastic bag when I could put all the things I bought.

The album I'm talking about is this one, and I got Cap's photo card. 

Tän jälkeen lähdettiinkin kauppaan ostamaan jotain pientä purtavaa ja itse kans ostin energiajuoman tulee yökoitosta varten. Mullahan on siis ollut tapana, että oon sen koko yön tapahtumapaikalla enkä mene kotiin nukkumaan.

After that we went together to shop to buy something to eat. I also bought some energy drink for the night. I have a "tradition" that I'm staying the night on the convention place instead of going home to sleep.

Illemmalla löysin sit Reikun ja Janikan. Lähdin heidän kanssaan hotellihuoneelle viettämään aikaa. Hetken juttelutuokion jälkeen lähdinkin sitten takaisin Tampere-talolle, koska alkoi olla myöhä ja halusin antaa kaksikolle mahdollisuuden saada unta ennen seuraavaa päivää. Melkein heti kadulle päästyä, huomasin jättäneeni mun pikkuisen muovipussini sisälle. Siinä sit nopeasti laitoin viestiä ja sovittiin, että Reiku nappaa pussin matkaansa ja saan sen sit Tampere-talolla seuraavana päivänä.

A bit later I found Reiku and Janika. I left to the hotel room with them, to spend some time. After our little talk session, I decided to head back to Tampere Hall 'cause I wanted to give the two a chance to sleep before the next day. Right after I was outside the hotel and walking down the street, I realized that I had left my plastic bag to the hotel room. Quickly I sent a message to Reiku and she promised to bring the bag with them, the following day. 

Takaisin conpaikalle päästyäni, tie vei karaokeen. Edellisvuosiin poikkeukena, tänä yönä ei Kpop ja Jrock laulajia juuri ollutkaan silloin, kun menin laulamaan! Meitä oli joku 3-4 henkilöä huoneessa ja muut lauloivat anime openingeja. Sääntönä oli,että yksi kappale per. ihminen - oli se sitten lyhyt tai pitkä. Tämän takia en viitsinyt ihan hirveästi laulaa mun yleisiä kappaleita, koska itselle tuli vähän huono omatunto. Varsinkin kun muut eivät juurikaan kpopista ja jrockista näyttäneet välittävän. Kyllä mä sit jotain aina väliin vedin.

When I was back on the Tampere Hall, my way leaded straight to the karaoke room. This year, the ones who sang Kpop & Jrock, weren't there the moment I went to sing. There were only around 3-4 people in the room and all the others only sang anime openings. The rule was, one song per person and the length of the song, didn't matter at all this time. That's why I didn't sing the songs I usually would have, since I kind of felt bad for them being so much longer than the others. The other people also didn't look like they'd like kpop and jrock much. But still, I sang few every now and then.

Olinko edes innoissani siitä, kun karaokelistassa oli tänä vuonna Block B:tä. Vedit kummatkin listassa olevat kappaleet, Jackpotin ja Nalinan. Nalinan kohdalla uskalsin vieraista ihmisistä huolimatta jopa vähän tanssia mukana. Edellisvuoden tapaan myös MAMA, Miracle ja Oppa Oppa kuuluivat mun laulamien kappaleiden joukkoon. Kappalelistalla oli omalta kohdalta kans tyyliin kaikki anime openingit, mitä tiesin ja mitä ei oltu vielä laulettu sinä aikana kun karaokessa olen ollut. 

Reilun kolmen tunnin jälkeen päätin sitten lopettaa laulamisen. Aamuun oli vielä aikaa, mut tunsin ja kuulin, kuinka kurkku alkoi mennä karheaksi ja ääni paeta. Mulla oli kuitenkin vielä furien opetus edessä, joten päätin et olis hyvä säästää ääntä.

I was super happy, that they had Block B on their list, this year. They had two songs, Jackpot and Nalina, and I sang them both. When I sang Nalina, I found a bit of courage to actually dance a little while singing. MAMA, Miracle and Oppa Oppa were on my list as well, just like they were on the past years. On my singing list, there were pretty much all the openings I could sing (and it's weren't already sang), which is a lot more than I usually have sang.

After around three hours, I decided to stop singing. There were still few hours before the morning, but I already felt my throat becoming rough and my voice had changed a bit as well. I wanted to save my voice to the following day as well, since I had few furis to be taught! 

Loppuyön sitten vaan kävelin ympäriinsä Tampere-taloa. Kävin hakemassa mm. Green Roomista kahvia. Hengailin myös karaoken ulkopuolella, kuuntelemassa kappaleita ja lauleskelin itsekseni tuttujen tahtien mukana. (Miten olikin just mun onnea, et 'kpop party' alko just sillon, kun itse lopetin.)

Siinä aamuyön tunneilla, mulle tuli järkyttäviä vilunväristyksiä. Kävin sit hakemassa mun isomman kassin mukaan, et laitoin vähän lisää vaatetta päälle. Mulla oli myös kone mukana, et jos inspiraatio iskee ni voisin sit vaikka kirjoitella jotain. Ihan viimeiset tunnit, ennen sunnuntain ohjelman alkua muistan istuneeni aulan pikkuisilla penkeillä (narikan edessä) ja odotin, että ihmisiä alkaisi virtaamaan sisään.

The rest of the night, I just walked around the Tampere Hall. I went to take some coffee from Green Room. I also hang outside the karaoke room and sang along quietly during the songs I knew. (How come the 'kpop party' started almost immediately, when I stopped.) 

When the sun started to rise, it became really cold and I went to get my other bag from the cloakroom. From the bag I took some clothes, so it'd be warmer. I had a laptop with me, if I'd get inspiration to write something but I didn't really use it during the time. I remember that I spent the last hours, before Sunday's programs started, I sat on the little benches on the hall and waited that people started to come. 

No eihän se yökään sitten loputtomia kestänyt. Heti aamuta oli K-Pop "luento" ja vähän ennen sen alkamista menin odottamaan salin ulkopuolelle. Luento antoi pienen piristysruiskeen, koska kuuli kaikkia kivoja biiseja ja pääsi pienesti fangirläämään - ainakin sisäisesti. Luennon jälkeen alkoikin heti samassa salissa JaME Suomen Jrock paneeli, joka oli kans mielenkiintoinen~!

As always, the night didn't last forever. One of the first programs the day, was a K-Pop "lecture" and a bit before it started, I went to wait outside the room. The lecture really woke me up, 'cause I heard so many lovely songs and I also was able to fangirl a little - at least inside my head. When the lecture ended, JaME Suomi's Jrock panel started right after, in the same room. It was really interesting as well~!

Tosi nopeasti paneelin jälkeen alkoi Japsirokki-foorumin miitti. Mentiin ulos nurmelle istumaan, kun oli niin kiva ilma. Oli tosi ihana miittailla ja tavata uusia samanhenkisiä ihmisiä! Ikäväkseni mun piti lähteä taas miitistä aikaisemmin. Oltiin meinaan sovittu Reikun ja Annin kanssa, et tavataan ennen furityöpajaa ja kerrataan furit vielä kertaalleen. Tällöin mun tuomalle läppärille oli viimein käyttöä!

Suunnattiin saliin, jossa meidän furityöpajan oli tarkoitus olla, noin varttia ennen h-hetkeä. Silloinhan meidän olisi pitänyt päästä laittamaan tavaroita valmiiksi, mutta edellinen ohjelma oli venähtänyt. Katsottiin sitä sit hetken siitä ovelta. Vaikka aikaa jäikin vähemmän, saatiin silti hyvin kaikki tekniikka tsekattua. Kun ihmiset pääsivät sisään, oli ihanaa nähdä, että niin moni pääsi tulemaan. ♥ Olishan se ollut ehkä vähän ankeaa pitää furityöpajaa tyhjälle salille. Oli muuten tosi jännää, kun se meille varattu sali oli niin suuri ja etenkin se screen oli valtava! En oo ikinä nähnyt mm. mikua niin isona. :'D

Quickly after the panel, Japsirokki forum's meeting started! We went outside to sit since the weather was so nice. It was so nice to meet and spend time with new people, who likes same thing! Sadly I had to leave the meeting a bit early again since we had decided together with Reiku and Anni, that we'll meet before the workshop again and once again, go through the furis. This time, the laptop I had with me, was useful! 

Around fifteen minutes before the time our workshop was suppose to start, we went outside the hall, where our workshop was suppose to be. At that time, we should have been able to go inside to get out things ready, but the program/lecture before ours had taken some overtime. However we were gladly able to get out things ready quickly and the people were allowed to come in. I was so happy to see that so many had been able to come. ♥ It would have been quite sad to have workshop for the empty hall, wouldn't it? It was really funny and interesting to see, how big hall we had. Especially the screen was huge! I, for example, have never seen miku so big. :'D 

Yksi mun suosikkini uusista fureista oli tää Anli Pollicinon Game of Love. Taisin myös rakastua tuohon heidän kitaristiinsa. Se vaan on niin ihanan pirteä ja innoissaan, opettaessaan biisin fureja. Tuitui~ ;---; ♥ Pitääpi tutustua tähän yhtyeeseen paremmin!

Mä yleisesti oon ollut coneissa ihan loppuun saakka, mut nyt tällä kertaa olin ihan super väsynyt.
(Note to myself: Varaa seuraavalla kerralla enemmän energiajuomaa mukaan! :D ja ruokaa.) Siispä meidän furityöpajan jälkeen (joka oli juuri ennen päättäjäisiä) mentiin Annin kanssa vielä kerran karaokehuoneeseen. Vaikka populaa ei siellä ihan hirveästi ollutkaan, ei oltais ehditty laulaa enää. Tän takia me sit katsottiin yksi kappale, jonka jälkeen päätettiin suunnata bussipysäkille ja siitä omia teitä kotiin.

One of my favorite, for the new furis me had, was Anli Pollicino's Game of Love. I also might have fallen in love with their guitarist. He's just so cheerful and excited, while he's teaching the furis. Aww~ ;---; ♥ I really need to get to know this band better!

I usually be at the convention till the end, but this time I was super sleepy. (Note to myself: next time, have more energy drinks! :D and food.) That's why after our workshop we went to the karaoke room. Tho there weren't too much people, we wouldn't been able to have our turn to sing. That's why we watched one song and after that headed to the bus stop & after that, went to our own ways to home.

Sellainen con tällä kertaa. Oli kyl hyvin hämmentävää, mutta mukavaa! KIITOKSIA IHAN KAIKILLE, JOITA NÄIN JA JOIDEN KANSSA PUHUIN! ♥ Nöyrimmät kiitokseni myös niille, jotka tulivat seuraamaan ohjelmaa, jossa olin mukana (= parapara esitys ja furityöpaja). Saattaa kuulostaa kliseiseltä, mutta te olitte isossa osassa mun conelämyksen onnistumisessa!

So that kind of convention this time. The feeling was confusing sometimes, but I had fun! THANK YOU TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON, WHO I MET AND TALKED TO! ♥ Also my most humble thanks to everyone, who came to watch my programs ( = parapara performance and workshop ) It might sound a little cliche, but you were the super big part of making my con experience to be such a joy! 

ANIMECON XI 12.7.-13.7.2014

Ihan ensimmäiseksi haluan sanoa tässä, etten oo mikään sellainen conikävijä, joka kiertelee kaikissa coneissa vuoden aikana ja käy paljon ohjelmissa jne. Oon enemmän sellainen hengailija, joka aina silloin tällöin poikkeaa kiinnostavassa ohjelmassa (j/k-musiikki tai fanfiction lähinnä). Niin ja pyörin lähinnä coneissa, jotka on Tampereen alueella.

Tämä siis niille, jotka näitä etsii / haluaa postaukselta asiantuntijamaisia mielipiteitä. En voi näitä taata - tää tulee olemaan vain mun kokemuksia jne.

First of all I want to say, that I'm not that type of a person, who wants to attend every possible con during the year and goes to see lots of different programs. I'm more the "hanging around" type, who goes to see few programs, if they happen to interest me (j/k-music and fanfiction). That's why I mostly attend cons, which are on Tampere area. 

The warning is for those, who search / wants more of an expert opinionsin this post. I can't promise to have any of those - this is just about m own experiences etc.

Ja alkuvaroitusten jälkeen voitaisiin sitten aloittaa matka. Viime vuonna mä siis pistäydyin ensimmäistä kertaa Kuopiossa, koska Animecon. Mä kävin viimeks Animeconissa 2011. Silloin se oli vielä yhditettynä Finnconiin ja paikkana oli Turku (Turun yliopisto tarkemmin ottaen). Mä en oo aikaisemmin ihan hirveästi matkaillut conien perässä - kaksi kertaa olen käynyt Hypeconissa katsomassa Jenlayniä (nyk. In Shade). Nyt kuitenkin koitti matka, koska päästiin pitämään ohjelmaa kys. coniin - wohooo~ (^o^)/

Meidän ohjelmana oli Furityöpaja. Kaikki lähti Tracon 8:sta, kun puhuttiin animekaraokessa Annin ja Reikun kanssa, et olis kiva, jos olis taas furityöpaja. Otettiin sit homma haltuun, ensin viestiä jrocksuomelle et onko ok ja sit olikin jo setin suunnittelua.

Now that I've done with the warning, I'd start the journey. Last year I went to Kuopio for the first time ever. The reason was Animecon. 2011 was the last time I went to Animecon. Then it was still together with Finncon and it was held in Turku (in University of Turku, to be exact.) Tbh, I haven't really traveled much to cons/happening, which are held outside of Tampere - I have twice traveled to Hypecon to see Jenlayn ( nowadays, In Shade.) But now I did it, because we were able to held program in Animecon - wohooo~ (^o^)/

Our program was Furi workshop. Everything started in Tracon 8, when I talked with Anni and Reiku about how it'd be great to have/attend to furi workshop again. Then we started to make it true. First we sent a message to jrocksuomi to ask if it was okay to use their idea and then we started to think, what songs to pick to the set.

Lähdettiin matkaan jo perjantaina. Syy tähän oli se, et meidän tavarat olis jo hotellissa conipäivänä, ettei tuu turhaa raahaamista. Tähän vaikutti kans se,et perjantaina oli mahdollisuus käydä katsomassa työpajan tilat ja kokeilla, et tekniikka toimii. Mun kohdalla matka lähti aamulla Tampereelta. Me nähtiin about 7:50 rautatieasemalla Annin kanssa ja mentiin ostamaan lippu 8:09 lähtevään junaan. (En toki tsekannut tätä tietoa junalipusta. :D) Se pari tuntia meni tosi nopeesti - puhuttiin vähän kaikesta. Mä mm. varmistin vie Psychedelic Jellyn fureja ja puhuttiin siit biisist ja mm. niistä sanoista. :D

Our journey started already on Friday. The reason was, that then we'd have our stuff on hotel already, when the con started and we wouldn't need to worry about that on Saturday. One more reason was that we had an opportunity to check the room, our workshop was held, on Friday. My journey started from Tampere. I met Anni at the railways station at 7:50 am. and we went to buy the tickets to train, that leaves 8:09. (... I might or might not check the time from the train ticket. :D) The couple hours went really fast - we talked about pretty much everything. For example, we talked about Psychedelic Jelly's lyrics and furis. :D

Kun päästiin sit Kuopioon niin Reiku odottelikin meitä asemalla. Paikalla oli kans Eve, joka oli tullut Kuopioon samalla junalla meidän kanssa. (Mut kuitenkin törmättiin vasta asemalla. :'D) Ihan ensitöikseen me mentiin meidän hotellille, joka onneks ei ollut kovin kaukana. Kirjattiin itsemme sisään, käytiin nopeasti jättämässä matkatavarat hotellihuoneeseen ja sit jo jatkettiin matkaa. Kaikilla oli jo vähän nälkä niin käytiin sit yhdessä syömässä.

When we finally were in Kuopio, Reiku was already waiting for us in the station. Eve, who had been in the same train, was also there. First we took our stuff to our hotel room, which luckily wasn't far. After we left the stuff there, we immediately left to eat since everyone of us was a bit hungry.

Tän jälkeen me mentiin uudestaan hotellihuoneeseen, haettiin työpajaan tarvittavia juttuja (aka viuhkat ja pyyhkeet) ja suunnattiin kohti musiikkikeskusta. Matkalla me vaan hyräiltiin kaikenlaisia kappaleita ja tehtiin fureja. Kovassa kulutuksessa oli mm. Radical Hysterian ja Psychedelic Jellyn kertosäkeistöt. Siellä sit aika nopeasti päästiinkin sinne huoneeseen, missä työpaja oli. Mentiin meidän koko setti läpi - Eve sai toimia harjoitusyleisönä. 

Neljä ihmistä + pieni huone + hyppimistä ja riehumista + helle = arvatkaa pariin kertaan kui kuuma tuol oli. Ohjelman vetämisen jälkeen alettiinkin menee sit kaikenlaisia muita biisejä läpi, netti kun toimi.

After that went to our hotel room, again. We took the stuff we needed to our workshop (fans, towels etc.) and we started to walk to the Kuopio Music Center (that's where the con was held.) During the walk we hummed all kinds of songs and did furis. The chorus of Radical Hysteria and Psychedelic Jelly were hummed a lot. Quite soon we were already in the room, where the workshop was. We went our set through - Eve was our audience. 

Four people + small room + jumping and getting crazy + heat = try to guess how hot it was in there. After we got through our own set, we started to dance to other songs which we new.

Tän läpivetoharjoitussession aikana kului oikeasti paljon vettä! Kävin muutamaan kertaan täyttämässä mun juomapulloa jne.

During our little "pull-through" session, we drank a lot of water! I had to refill my bottle few times.

Päivän aikana me käytiin mm. syömässä ja kaupassa. Hotellissa me vie kertailtiin ja keskusteltiin opetettavista fureista jne. Me löydettiin kans seuraa, ja tottakai oli pakko ottaa kuva !

After that, we went to eat and to store. On our hotel room, we discussed about the furis, we were about to teach. We also find some company, and ofc we had to take pictures with him !

Yks parhaista yllätyksistä, ainakin mulle, oli se, että meidän hotellihuoneessa oli KYLPYAMME! Tuntui kyllä aika luksukselta. En edes muista, millon oon viimeks ollu ihan tollaisessa ammeessa, varmaan joskus kakarana mummolassa! Sit illalla ennen nukkumaanmenoa mentiin jokainen kylpyyn.

One of the best surprises, at least for me, was that we had a BATHTUB in our hotel room. Luxury. I don't even remember, when was the last time I actually was in one. I guess when I was a little, and was in my grandparents' place. In the evening, before going to sleep, each of us went to have a bath.

Aamulla sit ensimmäisenä nopeasti laitettiin vähän vaatetta päälle jne. ja mentiin syömään aamupala. (Hotelliaamupala ♥) Alku näytti vähän huolestuttavalle, koska kahvi oli loppu. Onneksi sit kuitenkin se ehdittiin täyttää, ennen kun lähdettiin niin ei tarvinnut pelätä kofeiinivajetta! Sit mentiin valmistautumaan tulevaan päivään. Ainakin allekirjoittanut laittoi mm. vähän pakkelia naamaan. Sit oltiinkin valmiita lähtöön.

In the morning, we quickly changed the clothes and went to eat breakfast. (Hotel breakfast ♥) The beginning looked a bit alarming since there was no coffee. Luckily they had made new one, before we left, so I could get my morning caffeine! Then we went to get ready for the day. I, for example, put some makeup etc. Then we were ready for the day!

Mä valitsin päälleni EXO'n wolf hupparin, joka oli lainassa mun siskolta. Ei loppupäivästä mietittynä ollut kyl ehkä paras valinta, koska oli hiukka kuuma! Aika nopeasti paikalle päästyä, me suunnattiin kohti karaokehuonetta, joka oli meidän harmiksi vielä kiinni. :c

Onneksi on aina plan b. Oltiin Annin ja Iinan kanssa sovittu aikaisemmin, et kuvataan Animeconissa tanssivideo. Lähdettiin etsimään Iinan porukka, jonka jälkeen etsittiin paikka, jossa kuvata kys. video. Ulkoa löytyi kiva paikka ja kun oltiin saatu kuvattua, jäätiin vie hetkeks juttelemaan. Samoihin aikoihin Zico (tai siis Zicoa cossaava) tuli pyytämään mua parin tunnin päästä alkavaan kpop miittiin.

I had chosen to wear EXO wolf hoodie, which I borrowed from my sister. Now that I think about it, it wasn't the best choice, since there was really hot! When we got the Music Center, we went to the Karaoke room. It was, sadly, still closed. :c

Luckily we had a plan b. We had earlier planned with Anni and Iina that we try to film a dance video in Animecon. We went to search for Iina and her friends and after that, we went to search a place, where we'd film the video. We found a nice place for it, outside. After the filming, we talked a while and during that time Zico (cosplayer~) came to ask me to join the kpop meeting, which was going to start after couple of hours from that time.

Sit tän jälkeen meidän kolmikko meni takaisin karaoke huoneeseen ja nyt se oli auki, eikä porukkaakaan ollut paljoa! Me sit laulettiin siellä vähän kaikkea. Oli kyl vähän jännää kun Traconin karaokeissa oli tottunut siihen, et siellä oli paljon kpoppia ja kans sit jrockia, niin nyt tuolla oikeesti oli suurin osa anime musiikkia.

After that our group of three went back to the karaoke room, which was now open and there wasn't even that much people in there! We sang a lots of different songs. It was funny to noticed that people in there actually sang lots of anime openings, 'cause in Tracon, there I've mostly noticed people singing kpop and jrock. 

Tällaisena siis siellä liikuin. Kun oltiin laulettu tovi, mentiin syömään. Siellä nähtiin Eve! Siitä lähdin sit suoraan takaisin pihalle sinne kpop miittiin. Mä muistan vieläkin, kuinka awkward olin. Siitä kuitenkin on aikaa, kun oon oikeesti menny miittiin, jossa en tunne ketään. :'D

Mut oli kyl kivaa! Mä kans löysin ihmisen, joka shippaa Baekyeolia/Chanbaekiä ja sit puhuttiin vähän siitä jne. Aika nopeasti osa miittiporukasta (minä mukaanlukien) lähdettiin kohti karaokehuonetta. Kun päästiin siihen jonoon, huomasin et Eve, Reiku ja Anni oli edempänä ja kävin sit moikkaamassa, jonka jälkeen menin sit takaisin omalle paikalle.

This is how I looked. When we had sung a while, we went to eat. There we saw Eve! Quickly after that I went to outside to the kpop meeting. I still remember, how awkward I was. It's been a while, since I've been in meeting where I know no one. :'D

But I had nice time! I found a person, who ships Baekyeol/Chanbaek and we talked abotu them etc. Soon a part of the group (including me) went inside, to the karaoke room. When we got into the line, I noticed that Eve, Reiku and Anni were there and I went to say hello to them and after that, I went to my own place.

Karaoke oli oikeesti aikalailla koko päivän sana. Vietettiin siellä valehtelematta monta tuntia! Illan viimeisenä kappaleena (meidän porukan osalta) vedettiin Fantastic Baby. "Yleisö" ei tosin pahemmin lämmennyt meidän esitykselle mutta... hauskaa oli ainakin. Tän jälkeen sit meidän tiet eros iltabileiden ajaksi. Reiku lähti parin kaverin kanssa, jotka näki conissa, viettämään omaa iltaa. Mä ja Anni taas päätettiin vetää vielä yksi kappale (Ring ding dong) ja mentiin sitten sen jälkeen hotellihuoneeseen heittämään ylimääräiset kamat + vähän valmistautumaan. (Mä ainakin vaihdoin paidan.) Ja kyllä, viuhkat tulivat mukaan.

Karaoke actually was the word of the day. I don't even tell lies if I say that we spent many hours there. Our last song (as a whole group) was Fantastic Baby. "The audience" wasn't really showing any reactions to our show... but we had fun. After that our ways parted. Reiku went with her friends, who she met at the con and at the same time, me and Anni stayed at the karaoke room and sang one more song (Ring ding dong) and after that, we went to the hotel room to get ready for the Animecon's night party. (We also left the stuff we didn't need to the room.) The "to get ready" was mostly like, we changed clothes a bit. And yes, we took our fans with us.

Aluksi me mentiin tsekkaamaan alkuillasta ikärajattomat iltabileet. Kumpaakin kiinnosti etenkin alun kpop kattaus ja loppuillan eurobeat (koska parapara!). Vähän jammailtiin siinä alussa, kunnes...

Kattauksessa tuli vastaan EXO'n Wolf. Oi kyllä - jo pelkän tilanteen ajattelu naurattaa. :'''D Kummatkin vaan kiljastiin hysteerisesti (kaikki muut oli hiljaa ja tyyliin katto meitä silleen. o.Ô EXO fanitytöt tais löytyä.) ja yritettiin tehdä kahdestaan jotain "Tree of life":n kaltasta. Tällaista.

At first we went to check the "no age limit" night party. We were both interested in the beginning's kpop set and the eurobeat set ('cause parapara!) in the later night. We were just danced a bit, until...

EXO's Wolf came. Oh yeah - even the thought makes me wanna laugh. :'''D We both started screaming. a bit. (Others just watched us in silence in a "o.Ô I guess we found the EXO fangirls" -way.) After that we tried to do some kind of a "Three of life". Like this.

Sit kun se oli remix ni sit aina välillä oltiin ihan pihalla et mikä kohta tää nyt oli, osaanko tän tästä tanssista jne. Mut oli ihan parasta! Sit kun DJ vaihtu niin päätettiin nopeesti käydä ostamassa juotavaa ja energiajuomaa seuraavalle päivälle, koska tiedettiin et välttämättä montaa tuntia ei ehditä nukkua. Me ostettiin kans kummatkin kaksi valotikkua ennen saliin menoa. Sit vaan istuttii sie sivussa, paitsi jos tuli jotain kappaleita, josta tykättiin ja/tai istuminen tympi. 

It was a remix, so sometimes we were like "oh crap, what moves should come now" etc. But it was really the best! Then, when the DJ changed, we went to get something to drink. We also bought some energy drink for the next day, because we knew that we wouldn't probably get too many hours to sleep. We both also bought two light sticks. Then we just sat in the side, unless there came songs we liked and / or we just didn't feel like sitting. 

Oli kyl aika yllätys, kun myöhemmässäkin vaiheessa tuli kpoppia. Gangnam Style ja I am the best oli suosittuja, mut ainakin itse olin ihan liekeissä, kun SHINeen Everybody tuli. ♥ 

It was quite a surprise, when also in the later parts came some kpop. Gangnam Style and I am the best were popular in those sets, but when SHINee's Everybody came, I was on fire. ♥

BABYMETALin Gimme Chocolate!! oli kans hauska. Sit tulikin se hetki, mitä olin innolla odottanut. Eurobeat alkoi. Aluks tuli vähän sellaisia kappaleita, joihin vaan improvisoitiin liikeitä, mut oli mukana kans muutamia tuttuja. Black UFO ja Harajuku Night oli sellaisia, johon liikkeet tuli mulle jo lihasmuistista (koska ensimmäinen oli Tracon 2012 esityksessä, jälkimmäinen on opetettu tunnilla ja tanssittiin se viimeisimmässä Tampere Kupliissa .) Sit tuli kans Shanghai, jonka tunnistin kanssa, mutten millään voinut muistaa, miten se tanssi menee.

BABYMETAL's Gimme Chocolate!! was funny as well! Then came the moment, we had been waiting. Eurobeat started. First came songs we had to improvise moves, but then there came some familiar as well. BLACK UFO and Harajuku Night were the ones, where I knew the moves all so well already. (The first one was in our Tracon 2012 performance and the last one had been in one of our lesson as well as we had danced it in the latest Tampere Kuplii.) Then Shanghai, which I also recognized, but I couldn't recall the moves at all. 

Sit jossain vaiheessa se eurobeat muuttui enemmän sellaiseksi ... konemusiikiksi, mitä alussakin oli. Siis sellaiseksi, et jos tässä yrität vetää jotain paraparaa niin saat kuule rasitusvammat. Päätettiin sit lähteä suosiolla vähän aikaisemmin sinne ikärajallisiin. 

Then, after a little while the eurobeat changed into more... quicker techno kind of. That kind of music, which the others has played in the beginning. It was so quick, that if we had tried to improvise moves to that, we could have gotten some sort of "RSI". That's why we decided to just leave to the age limited night party.

Oon aina kuullut, kun ihmiset puhuu con-drinkkien nimistä,niin oli pakko tsekata tämän kerran. Kun otettiin juomat niin mentiin vähän sivummalle juttelemaan. Siinä oli kuitenkin jonkin verran aikaa, ennen kun eurobeat alkaisi näissä bileissä. Odotus palkittiin ja aika nopeasti tuttu DJ meni laittamaan kamat kuntoon. Heti alussa huomattiin kuitenkin Annin kanssa, et se setti oli sama, mitä ikärajattomissakin oli. Niinpä päätettiin, et jäädään siksi aikaa, et Harajuku Night ja Black UFO on kummatkin soitettu ja lähdetään siitä sitten kohti hotellihuonetta. Saatiin ainakin enemmän aikaa nukkua, kun ei oltu ihan loppuun saakka.

Kun päästiin huoneeseen niin Reiku tulikin melkein samaan aikaan. Puhuttiin sit vähän illoista ja seuraavan päivän ohjelmasta. Me kans laitettiin jo vähän tavaroita valmiiksi, et aamulla pääsis lähtemään suht. jouhevasti.

I have always heard people talking about con-drinks names, so I had to check those. When we had gotten our drink, we went to the side to talk. After all, we had some time before the eurobeat would start. After a while, our waiting was about to come to the end, when we saw the DJ coming to the stage. From the beginning, Anni and I noticed, that the set was same, what he played in the "no age limit" party, so we decided to leave back to the hotel room, right after Harajuku night and Black UFO had been played. At least we got some more hours to sleep, when we wasn't there till the end.

When we got to the room, Reiku came almost the same time. We talked about our nights and about next day. We also put our some of our things ready, so we wouldn't have to hurry too much the next day.

S U N D A Y

Aamu meni aikalailla samaa rataa kun edellinenkin, tosi nyt oli kans viimeiset tavarat matkalaukkuun ja matkalaukku mukaan. Lähdettiin Reikun kanssa huoneesta edeltä, koska mentiin katsomaan AMV kisaa. Ja sit voittekin arvata, mitä tehtiin aika ennen furityöpajaa ? Jep, karaokea. 

The morning went the same way than the earlier one, tho this time we had to take our luggage with us. We left the room earlier with Reiku 'cause we went to watch the AMV competition. When the competition ended, we had some time before our workshop. Can you guess, what we did during that time? Yes, karaoke.

Sit sen jälkeen me mentiinkin jo odottelemaan huoneen lähettyville, et päästään sisälle. Siinä sit istuttiin, kuunneltiin biisejä soittimesta ja harjoiteltiin vielä itsenäisesti fureja. Voin myöntää, et syke saattoi olla hiukan korkea siinä vaiheessa.

Sitten olikin jo aika aloittaa työpaja. Viuhkat, pyyhkeet, raapustukset ja vesipullot laitettiin sivulle ja opetus alkoi. Työpajan aikana osa käytävällä kävelevistä 'sivullisista' kurkisti ovenraosta ja katseli hetken aikaa, mitä me oikein tehdään. Anyways, vaikka jännitti paljon niin meni ihan mukavasti. Saatiin ajoissa paketti kasaan ja sen jälkeen istahdettiin hetkeksi vielä lattialle. Koska meidän jälkeen ei ollut enää kukaan tulossa, jäätiin ns. yliaikaa ja kuunneltiin vähän lisää jrockia.

After that we went to close to the room to wait, that we got inside. During that time we sat and listened the songs and practiced the furis for the last time before was time to teach them. I can admit, that might pulse might or might not be quite fast that time.

Then it was finally the time for us to begin the workshop. Fans, towels, our notebooks (where the moves where, if we needed them) and water bottles were in the side and the teaching started. During the workshop, few 'outsiders', who happened to walk on the corridor watched a while, what we were doing. Anyways, even though I was nervous, it went pretty well. We got done early, so the rest of the time, and we went a bit overtime since we were the last ones to use the room, we listened a bit more jrock. 

Lopulta oli sit ihan oikeasti aika lähteä. Ei muuta kun kimpsut ja kampsut mukaan ja kohti rautatieasemaa. Tosin käytiin ennen sitä vielä syömässä. Junassa istuessa väsymys sitten tuli oikein kunnolla. Niinpä matka meni tällä kertaa lähinnä kuulokkeet korvissa. Yhdessä vaiheessa tosin selailin Lycaonin settilistoja, jotta pystyin arvioimaan, kuinka todennäköisestä olisi kuulla syyskuussa Psychedelic Jelly. Syyskuun keikan postaushan on jo ilmoilla, ja halutessanne voitte lukea sen TÄÄLTÄ. Siellä sitten mm. kuultiinko kys. kappale! :D Olisin katsonut kans BORNin settilistoja, mut niitä ei oikein löytynyt. :c

In the end, we had to really leave. We took our luggage and went to the railway station, after stopping by and eating. When we got to the train, all the tiredness became aware for the first time. That's why the way back home was basically just listening to music on our own music players. Well once I searched Lycaon's setlists on internet to see, how likely it was to hear Psychedelic Jelly in Finland. There you can, for example, find if they played it! :D I would have also wanted to check out BORN's setlist, but I couldn't find any. :c

So yeah. this the whole weekend in Kuopio, in one post. It was very nice trip and I didn't only get a good experience but I also got new bands to my list! Thanks to everyone, who was a part of the weekend. ♥
